As will a quick left turn or lane change.

The concept of time travel is more intriguing than space travel in some ways.
Imagine going 1 million years forward.

A lot of scientists will be surprised to learn this. I worked with scientists, most of them were Christians, a church down the street from me has a large contingent of scientists, and professors in the congregation.

NASA did announce that for Artemis they will have a woman and person of color to land on the moon. They didn't specify what other traits were requirements.

Nope.
Its basically warping time/space. We are so far away from being able to do that on that scale.

From my understanding the actual ship wouldn't reach high speeds, it just contains a warp drive that compresses and decompresses spacetime,

My understanding is physicists and engineers know it can happen.
Any physicist worth a damn does not believe in warp speed. They know that matter cannot travel at or faster than light. Basic physics.

So she'll be an Asian and will crash into the moon.

We’d do better folding space and plane hopping.
…which is what the “sci-fi science” to Warp travel is based upon.
Star Wars hyperdrive is gobbledegook.

I thought we achieved this with the covid vaccine rollout.

That's the trick though, the ship doesn't travel faster than light, the warp bubble moves space. It's kind of like the walking conveyor belt at airports. You're still walking at normal speed but the movement of the conveyor belt cuts the distance you have to walk so it's like you're walking much faster.
The problem with all of the warp drive theories is they all require an impractical amount of energy to manipulate space in that way. An amount of energy so high that before you figure out how to generate that much, you probably will discover other methods we haven't even imagined yet.

In 1994, Miguel Alcubierre proposed a method for changing the geometry of space by creating a wave that would cause the fabric of space ahead of a spacecraft to contract and the space behind it to expand.
The ship would then ride this wave inside a region of flat space, known as a warp bubble, and would not move within this bubble but instead be carried along as the region itself moves due to the actions of the drive.

But even if it did, how useful would it be? Sure we could get a great distance in a short time relative to the traveler, but (if I understand correctly) time on earth would pass at a different rate relative to the solar system. So essentially you could go on a warp flight around the cosmos, but when you got home hundreds or thousands of years would have passed on earth and everyone you knew would be long dead.
