This has been a funny thread but on a serious note, if we win the series I’d be thrilled. Ole miss has been just as ‘hot’ as us recently and they’re fighting for their postseason chances. We are fighting for a seed. They have more to lose which is scary. Hopefully we punch them in the mouth game one and they fold

2 of 3. Ole miss isnt that bad and have put it together somewhat lately.

Ole Miss can slug. They also have 2 good LHPs - not sure how they'll use them, but I expect at least 1 to start and the other to get big innings at some point. They're otherwise RH dominant on the mound, but they have a handful of solid arms. All hittable, but solid.

We aren't going to be able to sleep walk through Ole Miss just because of their record. They've been on the short end of alot of close games. If we don't play good baseball, we'll lose the series.

I think we take at least 2.

I agree. I think the sticks come out this weekend and we're too much to handle offensively. Our MO seems to be games 1 and 3 we score 6+ runs. game 2 is going to be the close one.

We seriously need a saturday night guy on the mound.

I say they have a solid handful of arms from watching them, not based on stats. Elliot and Gaddis are the LHs, Delucia and Diamond are the RHs. In the pen, they have Washburn and 2-3 other guys that aren't slouches. Solid closer. And, Drew McDaniel may even be available for an inning or so by Sunday if they're all in. Stats won't tell you that. Aside from Elliot, these are all vets, too.
