Luka didn’t have a problem putting up solid stats.

A guy averaging 7 and 4 right now against European dudes, I just don’t see how we can consider this guy the best prospect ever.

I think y’all are taking some of what I’m saying out of context. I have stated this guy has all the potential and skills to be good. Is he the greatest prospect that the league has ever seen? No, and that’s not even a debate.

I mean, Victor has been in the Euroleague for like 4 years now too. Plenty of time to adjust, he still hasn’t taken that next step up yet. What’s really the difference in comparing an 18 year old Luka’s season to a 17 year old Victor’s season? Can’t be that much of a difference. Maybe Wenbanyama will win the Euroleague MVP next season, and then we can have a discussion on it.

I mean hell, even before Luka’s major breakthrough MVP season in the Euroleague he averaged 2 years of like 12 5 and 4. Wenbanyama ain’t even doing those numbers right now. Just nowhere close right now. Yes he has elite potential and an elite skill set. But a lot of this is pure projection on this kid.
