IMHO, most maps aren’t needed for the long trek because you can get on a highway or interstate that takes you most of the way.

The problem becomes finding the fricking hole in the wall turnoffs once you get off the main highway. THAT tends to be when you need GPS and when it can’t handle it worth a shite.
