It's not leftists that are tied up in knots over this.

I think the point was that the left will be confused once they see their enemy flying the flag of communism and gov't control.

They have that flag in the parade every year. It is a copy of the victory banner - the flag raised over the Reichstag in Berlin.
The march that is played when the banner comes out is called "Sacred War." It has some bad-arse lyrics.

Right. It is their WWII Victory parade so they use flags from that time. There is nothing wrong with this at all.

Fun fact, the iconic picture everyone knows of the flag being planted on the reichstag is “photoshopped” to remove the loot the soldier was carrying on his wrist and add a bunch of smoke to make it look more “lively”

They've always had that flag during their vday parade (and why wouldn't they? That's the flag the soviets fought under to beat the Reich). OP is a certified pleb.

The Soviet Army had the victory. They have been fling that banner on victory day since the Soviet Union dissolved. Hard to take the Ted Army out of victory day.

Truth is, The American Left has been wrapping themselves in the Soviet Flag FAR MORE OFTEN than the occasional guy with a Confederate Battle Flag on The Right. But for "reasons" no one seems to care that The Left is parading around with a Soviet Flag on American soil.
