Didn’t get to see it, but scanning the box score it’s very encouraging — 4 IP, 2 H, 1 BB, 5 Ks.

For those that watched, how did his curve look? We know the fastball plays and will get swing and misses.

Floyd is continuing to progress and, in my eyes, is putting himself back into position to be a top 2 starter on this team.

Others thoughts?

Improved. Should continue to see more opportunity since Money is useless and Grant Taylor sailed a routine throw to first 24 feet in the air.

He looked great! It was a breath of fresh air to see someone throw strikes last night after Money and Taylor.

He was working in his curve and change. Id like him to get the next shot as a weekend starter. When he has his offspeed working, he is a good weekend starter. Im willing to accept he may not have it 1 out of every 3-4 times out

Fastball is a plus plus pitch and he had good command of it last night. Change up looked good to lefties several times. Curveball still needs work to right handers but at least it is there now and the slight threat of it being thrown helps. If you take money out of equation, he seems to be the best option to put up innings on saturdays.

He was improved but he needs to do it three times in a row to show consistency. 2 or 3 weeks ago he had an Ok outing and then the next time he pitched he was not good. If he can put a few outings back to back together I would feel better about it.

It is a hammer if he can control it consistently. He had the change working as well. 15 mph difference from FB. So much potential.

If he has his off speed pitches working he’s easily the Saturday pitcher for us. I would like to combine him with Collins or Hasty on saturdays.

Leave money in the bullpen for a few innings in a big lead.
