I’ve been twice and it’s a great environment. Got to see more games for price than expected. Totally worth it for my 3 hour drive. I’ll be there.

Are you kidding? Most of the soft, no chest "fans" on here don't even go to the Box much less travel. They'll have some weak excuse to not support this team.

Stay on 119 in Pelham. Close drive to Hoover and lots of restaurants. Check out campus 124 right down the road. Old elementary school turned entertainment district. Still growing but they have beer hog with a great beer selection and atmosphere.

Count me in, this will be one of the best SEC tournaments in recent years with all the good teams in the SEC. Including the LSU Fighting Tigers !! GEAUX TIGERS !

Jubilee Joe’s has a new location across 459 with a nice patio. There’s also Cajun Roux and a Walk-Ons in the new shopping center behind Culver’s. For B’ham BBQ, my picks are:
1) Saw’s
2) Jim-n-Nick’s
3) Dreamland (downtown, NOT 280)
4) Full Moon
5) Golden Rule

For Mex, Pelham has Cozumel and Frida Kahlo (new but VERY good). Standard chain stuff all over Hoover. You won’t go hungry!
