Huckabee never had a chance running for president. When voters found out he was a minister, the Dems freaked out and went on the attack and lost other voters who simply didn't like preachers.

Maybe but the left hates him probably worse than Trump. I would take my chances with Huckabee than the established Rinos that we know won't do anything.

That just means he compromised himself over nothing.

So he should have denounced his faith to please voters of the left?

Rutledge could probably beat him.

If a business wants to become a political player, they're eventually going to be the victim of politics.

He shouldn't have given up being a preacher of the gospel to go into politics. Your twisting of my obvious intent seems disingenuous.

It has been awful ever since Covid started and he realized he was going to get a seat on the Board of Wal Mart. His hire of Romero was the worst thing the state did, he did not even follow state rules/laws for it.

It may get worse up there now that Sanders is going to fly in easily. Rutledge should have followed Asa as Governor. Sanders will be a disaster.

Maybe I don't have a great grasp of the situation but didn't DeSantis simply remove an act of government granting them special exemption? Not sure how removing government acts equals more government?

He was talking about more Government "involvement" in business I guess.....it's worth repeating, Asa is a dumbshit

You think Rutledge would do better than Asa? It seems she doesn't have much of a chance against Huckabee.

It was strange to watch them redeem George W Bush, and make him out as a paragon of virtue, after calling him a murder and criminal for years.

I wonder what they’ll do with Trump. Will he become a “good guy” too? Now that they have DeSantis to destroy?

These people are so desperate to have the legacy media compliment them that they'll abandon every "principle" they claim to have

You'd think so, but we've had multiple 10 page threads full of "I'm conservative but..." window lickers arguing the exact opposite.

She isn't running vs Sanders she is going Lt Governor. I think she would be a better governor than Sarah Sanders will be. Sanders has done nothing, held no office. Just because she read from cue cards, took questions, and her dad was a governor means nothing actually. At least Rutledge acted on the Trump agenda.

But Sanders will win 70-30 over that Professor in the General

I dp not live in Arkansas any more so not my monkeys not my circus.

When RINO’s come for you… then you doing something right. You are not some corporate cocksucker moderate bitch. They come after Trump and DeSantis and we vote those RINOs out.

That is too bad. She did a fine job as AG and it just seems a waste to run for the lieutenant governor job when they are irrelevant.
