One thing is for sure - Les will be pulling lots of things out his arse this season. But that's OK. In fact - it makes perfect sense - because that's where he hides his golden horseshoe!

Man, if Jamarcus didn't hit Bowe between those defenders on that 4th and goal kiss Sugar bowl goodbye. Now you got me relapsing.

Yeah me too!!! USUCK LOST BY A TD (6 points to all of you non football fans) to UNRANKED Oregon State...
And like i was telling MJRuffalo, I'd rather lose by 30 to the #11 team in the nation then lose to an UNRANKED TEAM, like USUCK DID, AND THEY WERE NUMBER 1 at the time...OMFG That WOULD be freakin' embarassing like a MOFO...I mean seriously, when was the last time LSU has lost to an unranked team? A few years ago probably? Hasn't USC lost to an unranked team like for the past couple of years or more, in a row, because i do know USC has lost more games to unranked teams in the past 5 or more years than LSU has! AND THAT IS A FACT!!! SO STICK THAT UP UR AZZ MJRuffalo AND ENJOY IT!

4th and goal? Ha! In 1988 it caused an earthquake.
In 2005,6,and 7 - its Les Mile's bread and butter!
In fact I seem to recall that in his very 1st game he had to convert on a 4th down to win.
Seriously, if I had to count the number of 4th downs that - had we not converted, we would have lost - I'd have to invent numbers that have never been thought of. Les has been so successful on fourth down that it just can't be just because of luck!
I think that he believes there are 5 downs and that punting on 4th makes him "conservative" (like Paul Dietzel used to punt on 3rd).

Arkansas was unranked when they won last year. I am pretty sure that was the last one since 2003 against a reeling Florida team.
USC seems to have choppy sailing in Corvallis lately for some reason.

Does Oregon State have a heisman candidate?
Posted on 10/15/08 at 4:37 am to MeanMachine
I can't even put a single name to any position on the team.

There you go. Does't compare at all to last year's Arky team.
LSU hasn't lost to a team that finished with a losing record under Miles.

Thanks Jrv...LSU has only lost ONCE since 1999 to an unranked team, and that was in triple overtime...We all know USUCK has lost more than once since 1999 to unranked teams and didn't even take most of them or any of them to overtime much less triple overtime. Im sure MJRuffalo knows exactly how many times since 1999 that USUCK has lost to unranked teams, since he knows so much about U S U C K! I know of 3 myself just since 2006! UCLA in '06, Stanford in '07 and Oregon State in '08. I'm sure there are plenty more than just 3 since 1999, because USUCK WAS ONLY 37–35 from 1996 to 2001.

Blehhhhh.......Tennessee went 5-6 in 2005.
The only one all millenium. Saban didn't, either.
I think that is the only one in since 1999.

Touche.
One exception.
I guess what I'm trying to say is Les has never lost to a team that sucks arse.
UAB sucks arse - even if they had a winning schedule in 2000 - its because they were playing teams that sucked arse.

And your boobs are fake.

1. Let me help you out here cause it's pretty simple. LSU has no quality wins at all. LSU has close wins vs. some bad teams. LSU was blown the frick out of the water by 30 points. USC lost by 6. LSU has played the #66 SOS, USC has played the #3.

USC had alot of close losses in that 6-6 year too, I believe.

USC may have stayed in the top 10, but they did lose about only 1 less spot than LSU did.
Rational reasoning has no place on the Rant.

Posters, ranters and other blind LSU fans. First, it is not the end of the world. Second, we got stomped, crushed, punked and owned by Fla., who lost to Ole Miss at home. Both of our lines were dominated and our QB was average with poor decision making.
Fla. could have caved in the second half with our score on the first drive getting us within six. But on National TV, Fla roared back and kicked our butts never letting get any closer. Instead of us slowing them down, they score 31 points in the second half.
This game should be an aberration, but until we prove it, we do not belong in the top ten. Beat S.C., Ga. and Alabama then the polls will be corrected and we will be near the top five.
Hopefully, we get to the SECCG and see Fla. again. Only then, and if we win will we deserve to be called one of the best.
The best, the top five, never give up 51 points in regulation, while scoring only 21, to a one loss team. Let that soak in for a while. This is the strongest test for Miles since Katrina. How our team handles this loss will determine his legacy.
