final unranked teams

I mean unranked at the time of playing them.
And the logic is that you have lost to more unranked teams than we have in that time span.
It may not mean much to you only because you will lose when you find out the answer.

The merit is of having all USUCK fans know that LSU may lose now and then, every other year to a highly ranked team, but USUCK losses often to unranked teams, maybe because that is mostly what your school schedules. Especially only scheduling two ranked teams this season!

Washington St. is probably the worst bcs team, and one of the 10 worst Div 1A teams in the nation. If we are not up by at least 35 midway the the 3rd quarter, I will be disappointed

What the frick, MJ. You guys only scheduled 2 ranked teams this season. What were you thinking with all of those Pac-10 opponents?

Not if that team is highly ranked, and your loss was to an unranked team, so i guess it is just difference of opinions!

42.5 right now. I already bet that we cover. WSU has given up over 60 3 times in conference play, and average margin of loss in conference play is close to 50.

Just for some perspective they lost last week 66-13, and had the benefit of 4 Takeaways!!! Usually you can count on a win if your defense is giving you 4 takeaways. They cannot even keep it within 50.

Correct, a difference of opinions. One opinion reflects reality and the other fantasy.

Plus they're playing an all-fraternity-pledge offensive line.

This team is not even close to as good as Stanford was last year.

Not by a mile.

You're just as bad as the idiots in our fan base who insist on having this penis envy contest with Southern Cal. I don't know which fanbase is more insecure - ours or yours? All of this stems from one lousy split decision five years ago.

LSU and USC haven't played each other in two and a half decades. They likely won't play for three and then some. This "cold war" is a symptom of two fanbases who love to talk up their championships, but conveniently leave out the "dark ages" of recent memory - both schools having had their fair share of misery in the last two decades.

LSU's main dislike for USC should center around the 2006 season when it appeared that USC would finish its end of the season cakewalk with UCLA en route to playing Ohio State in Glendale for the BCS c'ship. LSU, meanwhile, would sit tight after a thrilling win over Arkansas (cue USC fan to remind LSU fan about putting up 70 on the Hogs) and wait to more than likely find out that the Tigers would make a landmark and rare appearance in the Rose Bowl to play the 11-1 Michigan Wolverines. All depended upon USC handling a very marginal Bruin squad and everyone would get what he wanted for Christmas. USC, however, choked on the big (errr, semi-big) stage in front of a national tv audience. Led by the vomit-inducing John David Booty - the third Booty to somehow screw it up for LSU - USC lost to a much weaker UCLA team, thus ending a quest of 16 titles in a row (or two in three years, if you're actually counting) by Pete Carroll. Instead of LSU getting a rare chance to play in the "Granddaddy of 'em all", the Tigers were squeezed out by the squeezed out. LSU would have to settle on going to kick Notre Dame's asses in the Sugar Bowl, while USC took a convenient bump back to the Rose Bowl to once again throttle Lloyd Carr. While LSU and Michigan would have been a terrific matchup and USC and Florida perhaps more terrific, the best settlement for everyone likely would have been for the Rose Bowl to tell Michigan to take a hike and rematch Notre Dame in New Orleans and allow the Tigers and Trojans to once and for all end their cold war and settle it in Pasadena. Once again, just like in New Orleans three years earlier, we'd get nothing doing.

So, USC fans...just when LSU fans seem to finally be getting out of the LSU vs. USC debate, you lure them back in. Yes, Florida stomped on us and nearly sucked the life out of us, but we lost to a damn good team. It might have been by 30, but is it worse than losing to 6 win, at best, team in Corvallis, Oregon...in a stadium that might hold 40 K? A loss is a loss, but in the polls and for the BCS, it's how you lost - no matter if Florida is worlds better than Oregon State. In any case, LSU and USC are still in the "alive" category for a BCS title shot with one loss. As are Georgia, Florida, Mizzou, and Oklahoma. In fact, the SEC and Big XII have a combined 9 schools who are mathematically alive for a title shot. Compare that with the Pac 10's plethora of one...maybe add in the Big 10's stack of three. I can tell you this, though: If USC does get their shot at the title in January of '09, you'd better make it count. Next in line after Ohio State and Oklahoma, as far as "tired of watching this over and over" are the Trojans. True, USC handles up most of the time in the BCS games, but one more loss - in any year - to a very subpar opponent and the sportswriters and coaches will ensure that USC doesn't climb near the top to get their chance. Also, you need a title game worse than anyone, but maybe the Big 10. The Pac 10 is not a showcase conference from top to bottom...not even from top to top, really. Sitting on your asses and waiting for the SEC and Big XII and ACC to play their conference c'ship games, in hopes you'll move up due to a loss by one of them, is weak. Grab Boise and Fresno and make a 12 team conference and have that c'ship. It'll give you some credibility with the rest of us. It would have saved you in '03.

ESPECIALLY if it's three or four series in a row. Oh wait, didn't USC do that and still shut out ASU last week? Couldn't pass that one up.

Again, that's your opinion! I have only heard one person say that is more embarassing to lose to by 30 to top highly ranked school then to LOSS by TD to a freakin' unranked team!

I see where you're getting at with this margin of loss thing, but this statement is waaaay too much of a stretch. It really does depend on who you lost to.

Correct. This is probably the worst PAC-10 team in as long as I can remember. Not only will they not win a conference game, they won't even come close* (Apple Cup could still be in the air, UW sucks, and even in there good years, some bad WSU teams came to play in that game. It will be there Super Bowl)

I would certainly favor UW, but that is the one game WSU will focus on as they know they have no chance in any other.
