I wouldn’t worry about that guy. As bad as Trae was against the Heat, he still put the Cavs out in a huge crash and burn after the all star break.

Lol, at some of the Hawks fans who tried to tell me Trae
He is on the same level. The problem is that he does not have a 2nd superstar/scorer to take the pressure off of him and the offense runs completely through him. That's the issue.
The hOt tAeKs are coming out tonight.

Besides that last 3. Why didn't Minny go to their stars more. They have Ant and KAT. No reason at all for Dlo and Bev to be chucking up shots late in the 4th

True.
I forgot he is still bitter about Trae making the Cavs his bitch in the play-in game.

Bro you can have a bad game and it be cool. He had 3 absolute no-shows this series. Unacceptable no matter how you look at it.

Suns strategy of winning a playoff series while shooting 10% from 3 is a bold one

Show me where I said that he didn't have a bad series.
I'll wait.
Still doesn't mean that he ain't a great player. Shaq was swept out of the playoffs 7X. Does that not make him an all- timer?

So you let one series determine that he isn't a top-10 player? Cool. Shaq was swept in a playoff series 7 times. Does that mean he's not one of the all-time greats? Multiple other all-time great players have been swept out of the playoffs. Don't be dense.
It’s not 1 series that determines he isn’t a top 10 player. There are so many great players in the NBA right now, but yes, this series is going to hurt his credibility a little bit. It’s not just that they lost. It’s that he had more turnovers than FG made.
Saying he’s worse than Giannis, Jokic, Embiid, Booker, Tatum, Luka, Steph, KD, Lebron, and Kawhi doesn’t seem unfair. Mitchell and Trae are probably at that outskirts of the top 10 level, and bad playoff series are going to keep them on the outside.

Bro we’ve had a foul call on like 70% of possessions. This ain’t playoff basketball
Posted on 4/26/22 at 9:38 pm to SteelerBravesDawg
Did Shaq ever have a series where he scored 8, 9, & 11 points?
Bad series is an understatement.

It really doesn’t even matter. Individual success is good but most people just want to see their teams win. Hawks have some decisions to make. They have guys besides Trae that may give you 30 on a given night, but the problem is that Trae is having to set them up to do it. They have to get some more creators. Team success is out the window if he’s off.

We’ve come back from 23 before this season ;)

Trae had a helluva playoff series last year. As the Hawks build around him they should be better and it’s hard to imagine him having more playoff series like that…
But being 6’0” makes it tougher to take over a game offensively when the people around you aren’t doing what they need to. And obviously missing Capela is brutal. He’s incredible, especially for his size, but the Heat absolutely destroyed him, and that’s not an unfair criticism.

Graham was pushed wasn’t he?

Then that's a non-starter.
Have a good night.

Trae has at least proven it in a playoff series before.
Then there are other guys that get talked about as amazing players (KAT and JJJ) that have been absolute no shows for the majority of their games.
