Anybody seen the Netflix documentary on Abercrombie and Fitch? First of all
I was never a huge fan of the store in the late 90’s early 2000’s— thought it was a bit cliche and overhyped— not to mention the ownership apparently
Brought us Jeffrey Epstein— but anyway the slanted take down of the brand got outrageous fast.
I told my wife—so Abercrombies main sin was apparently
They hired good looking people who looked like models and were discretionary in that regard (I thought that was the entire point of the fashion industry) and then the big one was they hired way too many white people.
The entire documentary was basically a Nuremberg trial over these 2
Issues. The big question in my mind is where was this same outrage with the FUBU brand during the same time period?
I’ll be holding my breath waiting for when we get an hour and half long take down on the FUBU brand investigating their hiring practices and taking a granular look at how much of their corporate board was a race other than the same one as their CEO.

So why weren’t these industrial inventions invented in pre-Romanized Europe? Why did they occur during globalization? Also, you listed a lot that aren’t exclusively European inventions but I’m not going to play that game y’all like to play.

Dang I didn’t know white people invented farming!! How did the Romans conquer Britannia when the druids were over here shooting arrows from Range Rovers with penicillin capsules?

BTW, look at the crop yields from back then compared to modern day farming. There is NO COMPARISION.
