The fans here in Columbia believe that they will slaughter LSU 45-17 or worse. It is downright laughable to me. This is the same team that scored 23 against Wofford and eeked out 7 against GA. Now I know LSU was kicked to the curb last week but I just dont believe that our coaches and especially the players are going to come to Columbia and just lay down.

That kinda talk from other schools would make me as a fan, coach, player ready to prove to the nation that we are still LSU. We still play hard nosed, bruising type football.

I'm not saying much around here to these folks but inside I am ready for LSU to "BRING IT"

This is why I will be betting the spread this week... thank god for Cocks fans... -3.5 LSU is easy money for us.

I reason its high is because of Garcia. We finally have a QB! Though very young he brings something different to the table and that is why everyone believes in this team again

Good. I hope they are confident. But LSU should be PISSED off and I hope we come out and play like it.

Garcia is good- but has seen very little playing time with the exception of last week.

Did you see the confidence on the rant before the UF game. A guy from UF said that UF would win by 3 touchdowns and people laughed him off the board. They had people claiming LSU would go undefeated and we had a Heisman candidate. I guess being a LSU fan you have to take the good with the fricktards.

Part of me says there's no way they will beat us...

But then again we just go raped by UF and Spurrier is an f-ing genius...

So yea, I'm pretty scared.

If we had beaten FL this would've been a possible trap game and victory for the Cocks. Not any more.

The team needs a leader to step up. They weren't playing with their swagger, and haven't most of the year. Sure, sometimes they play down to the level of their competition, but normally they find a way to win. Last week they just didn't rise to the challenge.

Hopefully, last week was a wake-up call. If it was, and a leader emerges to get the team's head right, we'll be ok.

I miss Will Muschamp. He's at Texas now and he's got those guys playing 5 levels over their heads. They are flying to the ball like LSU has in the past. And UT does not have the talent on D that LSU does.

Darrel Royal (an old UT coach) said one time that when the going gets tough, he wanted guys "that will screw their belly to the ground and get mean." We have to get mean, and we have to fly to the ball, and we have to swagger. Win or not, we have to swagger.

My $.02.

While I don't think it will be that bad, since USC kinda sucks themseleves, we can very well lose and it could possibly be ugly. Call me a negative fan who but that loss to UF was so bad it has me thinking we will almost certainly lose to UGA, Bama and at least to either USC or Ole Miss. We will finish the season at 8-4 or 7-5. I feel pretty sure.
