Besides, I am assuming you are triple vaxxed already. So if that’s the case and YOU wear a mask, then me not wearing one poses almost zero risk to you.

I am not a science denier. I’d wager a fair amount that I have much stronger scientific background than you.

I believe in what the data shows. And it does not show that the kind masks the overwhelming majority of people wear are effective.

As I stated earlier. The BEST data they come up with shows that in very tightly controlled experimental conditions, a certain type of mask, fitted and worn correctly, MIGHT limit viral transmission. And the real world doesn’t live in those tightly controlled experimental conditions.


And if you carefully parse through some of the papers that support masks, you will often fine that their conclusions don’t necessarily align with their results.

Everywhere I go, about 5% of the people are wearing masks.

There is your answer.

If one thing has become clear in all of this it's that the self identify of a certain segment of this country is almost wholly consumed with living in fear and looking for mandates and government to protect them...and also feelings of moral superiority towards those who disagree.

How I know this:
- You can still wear a mask on a plane if you want to, in fact you can wear one extra mask for every person on the plane not wearing one
- Masks are not and have not been mandated in any other businesses for some time, planes, rideshare, and trains were the holdout
- Cloth masks (which everyone has) have not been clearly proven to work, especially with omicron
- The air in planes is recirculated and filtered more than just about any other setting or business
- We now have incredibly high levels of natural immunity
- We now have very high levels of vaccinated and available vaccines for anyone who wants them
- We now have therapeutic treatments available for those who may be at risk for a negative outcome
- We know that the omicron variant is significantly less deadly than previous waves of the virus and this is a variation of omicron

With all of that being what it is, some people still are still desperate for government mandates.

This judge gave the Biden administration the W, so they didn't have to offend their lunatic fringe by ending the mandates themselves...she did it for them, and they still refused to take it. fricking idiots, the lot of them
