Do we need to run up the score on USC in order to regain...

some respectability? They are one of the best defenses in the SEC right now and I say if we get the chance we hang 50 on them. UF didn't pull up against us so we shouldn't call the dogs off on anybody the rest of the season.

SC's defense is not a pushover. If we score 50 against them, I would be shocked.

This assumes that we will win. I know it's splitting hairs, but after such a thorough beating I think the team shouldn't take anything for granted.

We cant score 50 on North Texas, tell me how in the hell are we gonna score 50 on SC which has one of the best defenses in the SEC?

You better just hope SC doesn't run the score up on us. Our defense ain't stopping anything right now. We will need to score 35 at least and pray our defense can get a turnover during a meaningful part of the game.

yeah I'm putting more empahsis on our defensive prodution than our offensive production. I'd like to see our D put a real choke hold on SC even though SC's not putting up big numbers, the D needs a big game. but 50 with Lee would be cool.

I don't think Miles can coach a blow out if its not north tx or a bowl game.

We need to simply win to stop the slide and that in itself would be a huge acomplishment, without regard to 're-gaining any respect'. We've lost all respect and with good reason. Right now we are not a good football team. There's no way we will 'run up' the score against USC. We will be very fortunate to win.

I'll settle for just scoring more than them PERIOD. If we can somehow get past the next two weeks we have Tulane and then the showdown to end all showdowns. If we beat Bama then people will start talking about us again. I don't give a frick about winning pretty as long as we win.
