Looking for Update on 3 players

Has anyone heard anything about Anthony Bradford, Jarrell Cherry, and Soni Fonua? I see they are listed on the roster, but haven't seen them on the practice videos.

Jarrell Cherry has been a real head scratcher. He was highly recruited and has made no impact during his time here

I feel Bad for Cherry
He came in as an edge rusher and they tried to make him like a DT

Hopefully now playing a 5 tech he will find his niche. Strong and fast guy. Just has translate over to the field.

It is apparent that a lot of the guys O signed were overrated.
Our evaluation system wasn’t all that good. We signed guys that weren’t SEC caliber and guys that didn’t fit our system.

Eh sometimes guys just don’t workout. All those guys were rated highly by the recruiting sites too not just our staff.

Cherry is baffling but we’ve seen it before. David Ducre, Quantavius Leslie, MJ Patterson, etc. I don’t know what it specifically is they don’t/didn’t have.

That doesn't happen if you are a difference maker as a pass rusher.

Cherry either will transfer after spring or maybe he’s just happy going out a Tiger and realizes he probably doesn’t have a future in pro ball so just enjoy his last year. If he had pro aspirations he should have left 2 years ago. If Bradford isn’t getting 1st team reps I can see him transferring back closer to home in Michigan. He’s got still competition but undeniable talent too.
