In 2007 some blue blood lost to Appalachian State. Haven't seem to recover since.

Couldn’t you argue that the 2006 game against Ohio State is the one that really broke them? They got thrashed by SC in the Rose Bowl following that game, then “the horror” happened to start the 2007 season.
