I've lived my entire life into my 60's'without allergies. I could even pull down poison ivy w/o much worry.

Suddenly, out of the clear blue, I develop allergies to some spring pollen, I suppose, and it's a miserable fricking condition. I'm dead tired, can't get a good night's sleep, fatigued, constant sneezing, and scratchy throat.

Never expected to have allergies but always counted myself lucky, as friends told me how much it sucked. Well.. they were right. It sucks.

See if you can get a steroid shot for them.

Tried Flonase? It's the only thing that works for me.

It varies greatly not only by person but by time but lately Flonase has been my savior. Try them all for a few weeks, some take only at night. Flonase is great in the morning.

I just tell people I’m allergic to Louisiana. I never really had terrible allergy issues til I moved here.

Always look on the bright side of life. Sometimes all that spring pollen and wonderful weather makes one ready for the old in out.

I second the Flonase suggestion. Been on it for about a month now. No more problems with allergies from day one.

No guarantees, but it's absolutely worth a shot. The store brand works for me too and it's half the price.

I tried all the pills, Claritin, Allegra, etc and they don't do anything. I'm an eye watering, sneezing, snotty mess. But a shot of Flonase in each nostril in the morning and I'm perfect.

Few things that work as well as a steroid shot for allergies or a sinus infection

Nice to hear I'm not alone, I've never had allergies but ever since I saw the vehicles covered in pollen I've been fatigued and having a strange headache. Thought I had the Covid again

That’s funny you should say that. All my life I have been just miserable in the spring due to hay fever. I sneeze constantly and always have a headache. Additionally, I am constantly sleepy due to the “non-drowsy” allergy meds I have to take.

I have been dealing with this shite for 4 months every year for damn near 50 years. Thes year however, I have not sneezed a single time…and have taken no allergy medicine. I have no explanation for this.

Allegra D behind the counter works very well.

Local honey, astragalus, and echinacea also help

Flonase alone doesn’t work as well as pairing it with a Zyrtec at night. Works much better than just doing Flonase by itself.

Ask your doc for a prescription for carbinoxamine maleate (the patent is expired, so the med is not promoted by docs or pharma). Don't remember the mg dosage, but it works well without side effects for me.

ETA: take supplements of zinc, D3, C. It helps.

Had a sore throat for about a week. My allergies continually suck for about two months.
