Back end of LSU’s bullpen is getting nasty

It usually takes a while for your bullpen to take shape. LSU has three guys who can shut it down in the later innings now. Eric Reyzelman and Trent Vietmeier can get you to your new closer Paul Gervase. Best part about these guys is they strike out a lot of batters. You saw how important that is last night.

Even Riley Cooper looks a lot better. Him and Devin Fontenot can give you innings to get to the back end guys.

If the bats show up and LSU gets anything out of their starting pitching they’re starting to position themselves to be tough to beat in the 7th-8th-9th with a lead.

Good post. I was thinking about that last night. Reyzelman and Gervase especially are looking great.

Gervase is fun to watch. 12’ tall….wicked climb on his fastball….

Probably my favorite guy on the staff

Been saying it, if we keep giving up all these unearned runs, our team could be formidable.

I hope a little pressure off Money moving to Saturday can spark him, too.

Ty Floyd can even give you an inning with just rising fastballs

Although, the shift BS cost them a time or two.

It’s great that Vietmeier is playing such a key role while his grandkids are able to watch.

Got to give Kelley props. He has this staff pitching above their heads.

Quite the contrast from the Dunn ‘start them off with Tommy John plan’

It’s always wild when he comes in. He just takes up so much to the screen. The first time I was Like WTF is going one why does the pitcher look so big. Then I looked up his bio.
