For the same reason people obsessed over sriracha, Jeeps, backing up to park, Yuengleng, sushi --no now it's Thai, Sasquatch...and saying things like Boomer, Karen, hold me beer, asking for a friend, living rent free...blah blah blah; social media has turned sheeple into Super Sheeple.
