It’s fair enough if asexual is meant to be some transitory state when a person is either too shy or poorly socialized to engage in sexual relationships. Perhaps for subset of people with neurological disorders, perhaps they never develop sexual interests. But most people have problems with shyness, awkwardness, or “hump” periods where they are not actively searching out sexual partners. Are these people encompassed in the “ACE spectrum”?
