Didn't Crews play RF and DiG play CF last year? What made the coach switch their positions this year?

Crews is probably going to play CF in the big leagues so might as well move him there now

I’m guessing since Crews had a starting spot locked up, Johnson put him in center. Gio had to battle longer to get into the lineup.
The coach didn’t want to shuffle a key piece of the defense, CF.

Gio wasn’t in the lineup at the beginning of the season and Crews is good enough not to move now that Gio is back in the lineup.

Crews, Dugas and Berry started the season in the OF.

Crews moved to CF as he’s got the best range of the three.
Dugas returned to LF as last season.
Berry started in RF to see if he could handle that position.

As Berry showed he wasn’t up to RF and Gio started hitting, it made sense to move Gio to the outfield and they left Crews in CF because he was doing very well there.
