Help Watching SECN+ via Cox Cable

I watched today’s baseball game on YouTube because on my Cox box when I went to the game I kept getting an error message, something like: “sorry we’re unable to play this at this time.”
I’ve noticed in years past it generally takes 1-2 innings for SECN+ games to load on Cox. But today I gave up trying after inning 5 and just stuck with youtube.
Does anyone else experience this issue? How do I get around it?

Yes, I had the same issue today and many times have had the same problem you mentioned. I don’t think there is a way around it. It probably is a Cox problem.
Fortunately we can watch thru YouTube.

I get that same message about half the time I try and watch the baseball games. Not sure why it does that but it's annoying as hell!

I know it’s an extra step, but it might worth getting a Roku/appleTV/fire stick or something else and download the espn app and watch it that way.

Yes I’ve been experiencing the same thing.. honestly I need to call them and see if I can correct it..I just haven’t taken the time to call them..I’m sure it’s an update I haven’t done possibly.. what I have to do is go to apps in my Tv then go to settings.. delete the ESPN app then go to apps and find ESPN+ and reinstall it again and open.. it will give you an activation code then you will have to go to ESPN.com/activate on your phone, IPad, laptop etc.. ... enter that code on your phone etc. and your app will work again on your Tv.. I’m on Direct Tv by the way..I’ve watched all games doing this..

ESPN+ app on your TV. You should be able to use your Cox login and access pretty much every LSU game.

This. My Xfinity started giving me errors with ESPN app, so I said screw it. Bought a ROKU box ($20 bucks at Walmart) and haven’t had a problem since.
Also, the ESPN app disappeared on my AppleTV but I do have an older version. Again, no problems with ROKU thus far this season.

No you can’t. ESPN+ is a stand alone service. It has a monthly charge if you want to access it. If you have a Cox login you would e able to watch anything on the SEC network or anything on the SEC+ network
