Would be epic. Heads would explode among the American-hating Left.

Watching his facial expressions in the background at the state of the union would be hilarious.

I want to watch Trump's reaction. He said, "That was interesting" What else did he say?

Heads would explode

One way of forcing House RINOs to identify themselves.

This would be fun if only for Dem exploding heads claiming that the Speaker has to be a member of the House.

Has anyone been Speaker after they were president?

Good point. A lot of voters who believe their congressman is a good guy may well learn he's an establishment goon.

But damn, it would be glorious.

No one has ever been Speaker and President.

Closest to it happening was Henry Clay in roughly 1812, when he came in third behind Andrew Jackson and John Quincy Adams.

Imagine Trump in the Speakers office with cameras. Saying, he gets work done and he just told the U.N. he would pay dues but no globalization. "That was a terrible deal. I got a tremendous deal."

Then he walks to the Speakers balcony and points. "Do you see THAT big beautiful building, that was my hotel I sold in a good deal. It was tremendous, we got a deal, this i can tell you. Negotiating to get the lease from the post office."

"Do you see over there that building? That was where former President Biden used stages for his oval office because he could only speak from a teleprompter with huge font lettering."

"Even with all that he still choked and couldn't speak."

"Thank you all for coming to my office. I will be walking over to see my daughter in law, President Lara Trump in a few minutes."

The establishment republicans would shut it down fast . Not only would one of them want to be speaker , they wouldn’t want him to be pushing them to actually do the job they were voted in to do .

Trump could be a stalking horse to get a Tea Party type accepted by the rest of the caucus.

Part of why we got Ryan last time around was that the Freedom Caucus candidate couldn’t solidify support. If Trump was a legit possibility, a Freedom Caucus candidate suddenly becomes palatable.
