Absolutely a great hire considering where we are. Murray State is a consistent winner and all of the BS I hear about it's the program not the coach is just that. A coach still has to recruit the right athletes and he still has to coach them regardless of the program.

I do think there are programs who are consistently good but at least McMahon kept the boat rolling.
I would be fricking pissed if we fired the coach who couldn't win consistently at Murray St vs the one who has won consistently. Hopefully he gets to a point where he builds our program and uses the experience at Murray St. to know how to sustain it.
