Are we sure Woodward is so great?

He has access to the deepest pockets around and gets big names because of it. Mulkey is a Louisiana woman and with the right money wasn't a hard pull.. Brian Kelly was thrown an ungodly amount of money to come here... Buzz Williams hire at ATM was far from great. I'm not as sold on the man now that I see how he handles a little adversity. Disappointed to say the least.

I’m more sure Woodward is “great” than I am that Will Wade is great. One is trying to protect an institution he loves, the other was (perhaps unintentionally) burning it to the ground.
There is a way to win and not cheat. There is also a way to win and cheat effectively (which most schools do). Will Wade couldn’t figure out how to do either and his actions have cost us dearly. Hopefully Woodward can correct Wade’s errors and right the ship.

I have faith in Kelly and Mulkey. Johnson 50/50 on. Let’s be honest, I’d rather LSU be a football, and men’s basketball school than anything else.

I don’t have hope in him hiring a top flight men’s basketball coach. LSU basketball is not a premier program, and we lack on facilities, and arena, and resources for the basketball program. That is why I have no hope for this program, and Scott to make a home run Basketball hire.
