Why we should be behind the Ketanji Brown USSC nomination

First off, she qualified, is she the most qualified? I doubt it but that is besides the point. This isn't a position like a quarterback or test pilot, this is a position that each justice brings with them a lifetime of experience from a world much different than mine, and likely yours.
As a black woman her point of view is important and she can bring an insight into decisions that none of the other justices have. That insight deserves to be heard and considered.
As a staunch conservative I believe in fairness, this is fair.

Do you let other men sleep with you wife as well?

Yeah I’d say this attitude is exactly why Republicans are weak. Did you see what they put Kavanaugh and Barrett thru? Frick em

The Constitution is the Constitution and the law is the law. Their application should be objective and the "history" or "experience" or "world view" of the Justice should have ZERO influence over their decisions and reasoning in apply those laws.
The fact that they sometimes do, or as implied should, indicates she's wholly unqualified.

What's her stance on sentencing for sex crimes and mandatory minimums for child porn and sex offenders?
I will hang up and listen

She has a soft spot for pedophiles. Her race shouldn't come into it.

Just like the female Latino. No thanks

That may be true but what the hell does any race have to do with measuring what is and what is not constitutional?
I know it is a reality but the whole conservative/Liberal split is shite and should not factor in either.
I know rainbows and unicorns....

What does being a black woman have to do with defending the constitution? Is her skin color more important than her views on the constitution? Sounds racist.

That should be EXACTLY the point.

I do not believe you are a staunch conservative. Her record of giving very light sentences of people convicted of child porn and sex offenders is well documented.

There are thousands of qualified black women in the world, and Ketanji was chosen?

She can email me with her insight. I'll give it a read. When she becomes a justice we all have to live with her fricked up worldview.

I have a problem with the many years where she did not really do anything.

It’s never fair if she’ll be ignoring the rule of law.
