Russia warns anyone transporting weapons to Ukraine is a legitimate military target

Well then time to send the fricking Migs if they whack shite on Polish soil.
Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Friday warned that any cargo transporting weapons to Ukraine will be considered "legitimate targets" for Russian troops as it pushes forward with its invasion.
The comments come as Ukraine continues to ask for military help in its fight against Russian troops.
"We clearly said that any cargo moving into the Ukrainian territory which we would believe is carrying weapons would be fair game,” Lavrov said on RT Friday, ABC News reported.

“This is clear because we are implementing the operation the goal of which is to remove any threat to the Russian Federation coming from the Ukrainian soil," he added.
The threat comes a day after Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham (S.C.) introduced a resolution to give Ukraine fighter jets and air defense systems.

Can you blame them? The world has essentially declared war on Russia "unofficially" by saying hey we aren't at war but we are sending everything EXCEPT boots on the ground

They issued a statement like that a week or two ago. This is not a new position for them to take which is why these calls for sending arms is mind blowing to me.

If it is Ukrainian airspace, yeah, it would be a legitimate target. You do not get to pretend there is neutrality when you are entering a war zone to supply a belligerent. Has everyone forgotten the Lend Lease program in World War II?

What they say is anyone transporting weapons in Ukraine is a legitimate target. That is reasonable. Now if they are speaking of outside Ukraine or from where the weapons originated, it is a dumb statement. That would be half the world.

I can understand their reasoning. Russia seems to be trying to keep the deaths down on both sides . So other countries sending weapons to Ukraine will cause more deaths .

The people cheering the loudest for WWIII to start are all the last to volunteer to stand up to fight. Not one politician or blue check on Twitter will fight but they will sure send your sons to die.

This is why I’m convinced shite will escalate eventually. Ukraine ain’t quitting. We will keep sending weapons. Russia will get tired of that and start parking Hinds at the Polish border. Putin is getting desperate and getting serious Hitler madman vibes. Kremlin needs a cruise missile.

The U.S. has been involved since NATO, it's one in the same. Russia has invaded the ukraine but, it's not fighting the ukraine. There was an agreement made in the 90's about, no new expansion and NATO (U.S.) keeps squeezing. We can all dust are boots off and say "it's Russia's fault" but is it really?
