NEW YORK (AP) — Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan is planning trips to Iowa and New Hampshire. Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., is considering a rough timeline for a potential presidential announcement. And allies of Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., are openly talking up her White House prospects.

I'm sure Bill Kristol will endorse either!

Kingzinger is a joke and a charlatan

As is Cheney

Hogan has been a good Governor but he is too liberal for my liking

Give me desantis, Tim Scott, Ben Sasse, Crenshaw, etc

The easiest counter messaging would be "look how the democrats have fully embraced these two swamp creatures"

Yeah, have these two on the debate stage with Trump and DeSantis and see how that ends for them. Bring in Tulsi as well for a guest roast, since we all remember fondly how she ripped apart Kamala Harris.

Wouldn't that be move over Kasich? The GOPe has never supported Trump and these candidates are fighting for to be the GOPe candidate that takes on Trump, DeSantis, Paul, or some other non-GOPe candidate in the primaries.

They know they have no fricking chance. This is just a way to steal money fund raising.

Yes there will be pious lectures from Kristol and Frum and Boot that "reasonable Republicans who love their country" need to identify and coalesce around one anti-Trump figure as soon as possible. It's going to be amazing to watch them fail.

I’d guess maybe 3/4 of their relatives might pull the stick for them, at least
