I started with the Century Trilogy last year...was super impressed.
Just finished up A Dangerous Fortune...loved it too.
Bought Eye of the Needle today and have high hopes.
Pillars of the Earth seems to be popular. I will probably try that one next, but it is set so far back I am wondering if I can get into it?
Is there another book of his that you have read and would recommend?

Definitely read Pillars of Earth, it's great.
One of my favorites by Follet is On Wings of Eagles. It tells a real life story of how Ross Perot hired a mercenary special forces team to rescue his employees when they were taken hostage during the time the Shah was overthrown in Iran. It's a great story.

Pillars of earth is fantastic. I guess start with the prequel though it’s the most recent addition to the series. You are in for a real treat.

Enjoy them all. Lie Down with Lions is an excellent stand alone.

I read Pillars of the Earth and the two subsequent books in the series. I recommend them highly. A prequel came out recently which I haven’t read yet but I will as soon as I can find the time.

Eye Of The Needle is a fast passed spy novel you can finish pretty quickly. Pillars is much longer and involved but just as good if not better.

I can’t reiterate this sentiment enough.

I'm a fan of a lot of Follett's work but couldn't get through the Century Trilogy at all. Pillars of the Earth is good. Also Eye of the Needle, Key to Rebecca, The Man From St Petersburgh, On Wings of Eagles, Lie Down with Lions, A Place Called Freedom, and Jackdaws are recommended. Whiteout is terrible.

The mini-series made about 10 years ago is very well done. It follows the book fairly well.
