geauxbrown, to be honest, one 30 minute charge along that 600 mile trip and you an easily go 600 in a day. 30 min charge costs about $24-$35 bucks from "E" but with normal driving getting 400 miles from a charge is becoming more of a norm. little acceleration control and you can bust 400 every charge. In town driving is what really lacks in the EV movement right now. its hard to get 300 a charge from strictly in town driving. Probably in the 275 range is norm. Lot of stops and quick acceleration is what draws amps and depleted KWH quicker. Back to Original 600 issue. Basically you can go 600 miles in most EV for under $60 right now on a battery thats now lasting 8 years. Thats pretty damn solid.
