The Will Wade Contract runs through June 30th 2023.

At $2.5 M per season. Let's see how deep this team runs into March Madness, and then we can speculate on what actions SW may initiate.

Yes, because the LSU basketball program is just too good of a program to accept a 6 seed in the tournament. Our facilities and commitment to basketball deserve a top 4 seed every year…

Will Wade probably has the highest win percentage than any other LSU coach and fans think he is not good. Dale Brown had like four losing seasons to start his career here. With today’s fans Brown never would have been the name he is today to LSU. Step off the ledge and let Will do his thing.

he has some really good guys coming in next year and with the experienced guys from this team, next year we could make a serious run! This year was just lagniappe...

Why? What could possibly be your justification for firing a coach that gets LSU a 5 or 6 seed in the tournament?

Let’s wait and see. Outside of a handful of players, that typically only the blue bloods get, you can’t really expect a great player out of a freshman. Look at Reid, Williams, fudge. Might have to his the portal for some stability.

I don’t want him fired, but my opinion doesn’t matter. Nor does yours. And I think a reasonable justification for the only person’s that does—Scott Woodward—is that Will doesn’t seem like the kind of coach Woodward likes being the face of the university’s 2nd largest sports program. I don’t think he likes him getting a stupid fricking technical foul that turned a 3 point lead into a 3 point deficit with 25 seconds left in the half because he couldn’t maintain his composure.. I don’t think he cared for that leading to a 19-0 run.
I don’t think he’s all,that fired up that—fairly or not—people around the league don’t seem to like Will and it’s starting to called by both the officials and the broadcasters. And I be he absolutely cannot fricking stand he has ever had to answer one fricking question about the head coach of the basketball team being caught on an FBI wiretap discussing a “strong arse offer” he made to a recruit 4 years ago.
I like Wade a lot and want him to stay 20 more years. But there’s a reason Scott hasn’t extended him. Look at the hires he’s made at LSU. And the other one he tried to (Jimbo). Lots of similarities between those coaches, and Wade is the extreme outlier. That was hired by the previous AD by the way. I don’t want Will gone. But you’ve got your head in the sand if you can’t see the writing on the wall. Wade’s seat seems super hot. But it has nothing to do with the fans that don’t like him. It’s because the only guy that matters doesn’t seem to think he’s the guy for this.
