I remember when coaches SHUT DOWN fights in high school. Especially if an athlete was involved. They went easier on non athletes , if a football player was involved? Lord help him. He was treated to a form tackle. If it was cold and you were wearing a jacket you were lifted off your feet by the jacket.

If the fight involved girls they were yanked apart and shaken back and forth until disoriented so they could be walked off to the office.

I have special crisis response training for 2 reasons
1. To keep everyone as safe as possible in any given situation.
2. So that there is a legal team that will defend me if I follow the company protocols in handling the crisis.

In the world we live in today, teachers and administrators have way fewer rights than the students. And social media just makes the entire situation 100x worse.

at our high school, if you got in a fight "coach" would put boxing gloves on both participants and make them fight until they got exhausted. free entertainment for the rest.
