my god, the “it’s just a sacrifice we all have to make” narrative on high gas prices must have gone out last night because it’s everywhere right now

im impressed the Covidians found a new cause to “rally around” and pretend that this is some “shared sacrifice”

these douchebags have forced a perfect storm of

-continuing Covid restrictions for way too long, an unnecessary blunt force trauma on the economy
-using “green initiatives” to shut down and hamper energy our domestic energy independence
-inflating everything by printing money

and now they want to lecture us on “sacrifices” we have to make? will this really work as a political strategy? especially coming from elite rich assholes who don’t actually have to sacrifice at all?

Its easy when the narrative is retarded and coming from the same 5 people that send out emails to the sheep.

Inner City dems use public transportation, so gas prices don't affect them directly. Many suburban dems already have EV's. So they don't care, they actually like this, they can hold their nose up over their evil trumpkin neighbor with his pickemup truck.

Suburban dems and rural dems that don't meet the above criteria are absolutely livid.

It’s more than just a willing and complicit media. It’s a MSM that is literally a full up arm of the Dem Party. The two are operated by the same elite, and indistinguishable from one another.

There is a coordinated propaganda effort led by a few elite from the top down.

It then gets relayed to the useful idiots, and then amplified to every smush brain on tik tok and social media via algorithms. There is literal mind control happening right now in our society and it's so much more more effective than Sci-Fi mind control spooky fantasy shite.

They have mastered the art of fertile fallacies and and reflexivity. They take something that has a kernel of truth (Ukraine civilians suffering is not good) and package that whole premise to a bigger truth claim (we must rally to do this to defend Putin and Climate change at the same time, Oil and gas are bad)

As long as people are hooked on social media there is literally zero hope.

That's a good question but I don't really know the answer. What I do know is left wingers are exactly like a slinky, they aren't really good for anything but they do bring some amusement when you push one down a flight of stairs

You might not know this, but only a small handful of entities own all the media outlets.

I think we've joked about 4 am talking points, but some variation of this must exist. What freaks me out is when you see the exact same words spouted by local newscasts across the country. There is clearly a top down mandate on certain subjects.

This. We've the most expansive state media in existence.. it would be fricked up if they couldn't control and switch narratives at a lightning speed.

The bigger issue, in my opinion, is that local news affiliates and newspapers are all owned by a handful of corporations .. Gannett, for example

Here in blood red conservative area of Louisiana, the morning news will routinely regurgitate whatever talking points that ABC trickles down to them with a pre-made video clip
