Biden had ample time before the invasion to address Russia's border and security concerns, but he ignored them and took actions that were provocative against Russia.

Biden is the Foreign Policy Expert and the Leader of the Free World. Biden remains at the helm. I feel certain that all of Biden's military advisers have advised him to send no US military forces to fight Russia in Ukraine and I feel certain that Biden will follow this advice.

But, you are correct if you suspect that Putin's peace demands on Ukraine are becoming heavier with every passing day of war. IMHO, at this point, Putin would like to occupy Ukraine all the way up to Ukraine's Western border and militarize that border with Russian troops.

The most likely outcome is that Putin is deposed by the Russian military and oligarchs. The West isn’t lifting these sanctions until Russia withdraws. Putin might achieve a tactical victory and physical control all or most of Ukraine, but politically, he has already lost. The Russians lack the will to fight, and the Ukrainian resistance has killed more Russians in one week than we lost in Iraq and Afghanistan combined in 20 years.
