Look at all of these conservatives!
First of all you are making two assumptions.
- You are assuming they all are not conservative.
- You assume they give a frick about politics.

I never understood “skipping” a ton of grade levels. It creates socially awkward people and what in the grand scheme of things does it help the person?
Yeah my mom was opposed to me doing this and while it frustrated me at the time, it was by far the best move.

There is no shortage of socially awkward people that completed the full 12 years of elementary and secondary school.

People still need to work with other people so the ability to work well with others is a very important skill.
I have worked with a lot of scientists, many fit the stereotype of being socially awkward, unable to understand inferred meanings, satire, etc. It would have been a waste of their talent to spend time on social constructs. People with this level of intellect will always have assistants to handle interfacing with outer people at more mundane levels.

You are full of shite. Don't know nothing about SU. I am a proud graduate and doing quite well for myself. Come to think about it my entire graduating class is doing great. Don't speak on something if you have never been.

Definitely not a terrible school. It's actually a great school. Something you probably never understand.

What does that mean? He's 14 with a college degree! It was a great choice.

I get a smart kid going to college and all, but the poor kid misses out on some of the best times of his life...
No kidding. He misses the normal middle school and high school experience. Then doesnt even get to enjoy the college experience because he's too young. What's the point? To hurry up and get into the real world, punch a clock 8-5 and pay taxes?
Hopefully this kid is the next Doogie Howser.

I think he was using that as an analogy...

I can’t even imagine how shitty the physics instruction at SU is. I’ve worked with poorly taught physics majors many times, work with one now, and holy shite they suck.
Is it really poor instruction though?
The average ACT score at Southern is something like a 16 or 17. The professors can't help that.
