re: Ukraine: Concerns mount as black people report racism while fleeing war zone

Guess we know what Ukraines will be allowed into the US first now.

My wife is Ukrainian and went to med school there. They are not racist there. Most blacks in Ukraine are there for the education. They are foreigners and because of their skin color it's obvious they are foreigners. Foreigners and had a chance to leave before the invasion, like myself. They chose to stay and now they want to evacuate with the locals who are mostly women and children. That's on them.

As if fighting for your right to exist wasn’t enough, now they have to fight off claims of racism too?


Seriously, aren’t these people going through enough already?

I’ve seen a few white people on Twitter claim they’ve had to walk 12-16 hours to get to the border.

Racist against whites as well.

Just like the Rita evacuees who got off the bus at Bossier City then complained about being GIVEN a sack lunch instead of a hot meal, this is a twisted narrative. The evacuees tried to say they werent given food because they didnt have a cafeteria line set up
