I looked up plane tickets to Poland.

So... I don't have much going on with my life right now. Single, no kids, decent job. I do have my mother,father, and sister and a brand new nephew just one month old that I just saw today... but I kinda... want to go fight in Ukraine. Now, I don't have any combat experience but I have hunted Pheasant and regularly go shooting 12 or 20 gauge clays.
I cannot stand Putin, I don't hate the russian soldiers, they don't want to be there anyway. I looked up plane tickets to Poland one way and it was about 770$. I don't want to die, but I also want to do something important in my life. My sister called me an idiot and said I would most likely die and it would be wasteful and wreckless.
I know, war machine, propoganda, blah blah, I Just hate seeing innocent people being killed and... Maybe I could even get a Ukrainian girlfriend, you never know :)

I probably won't... but Man. Something about seeing all these Ukranian civvies give it there all. Makes me proud for some reason. Women, children, old people, everyone fighting for the country they love. I mean, damn.

People will mock you but people do it all the time. I think it’s a natural masculine reaction and a natural search for meaning that some people have. My reaction has been to think about how I might be able to help refugees.
