Even more so with Eziwiro and Colbert on our bench with ONeal there as well. We have what should be 4 true Fives on our roster and only 2 have seen more than 10 minutes of play time all season. What I feel LSU’s real need here after watching our teams “big” play production is a coach with experience coaching 5 spot player production. Who that person is I don’t know but he’s not currently on our roster. Hire him quickly, put him to work and watch our center production go through the roof. We’ve got the tools; just need to learn how to use them.

Bigs take longer to develop, especially in todays game. The AAU circuit and the big prep schools don’t focus on developing bigs now days because of the changing style. How many dominant American bigs have their been in all of basketball the last 20 years, maybe a handful? Unless you’re lucky it just takes time.
