JJ said Zion wasn't fully invested when they played together, and JJ called him out on it in front of the team.

JJ said flat out that he was his teammate and he can call Zion "a detached teammate". So apparently, that is just Zion.
Yikes.
He also says he addressed this behavior to Zion in front of the team and then basically said he was a shitty teammate.
If you want to skip Stephen A, once he starts talking, JJ talks again at the 5:10 mark

yeah, no hyperbole there, JJ eviscerated Zion. And to say he addressed Zion about all this to the team to his face and nothing changed? what a bum zion is.

Definitely calls him a detached teammate and calls it poor behavior. Said he basically called him out publicly when he was on the team for not being fully invested in his team, body, prep, and teammates.
Definitely not a ringing endorsement from a guy that basically has had every type of teammate you could ask for in his career to have a unique perspective to commentate on a player's approach and commitment.
Honestly this is the closest I have been to saying frick it, rehab and trade him. But we really get put in a terrible spot because we have built our team and timeline around the presumption of Zion's participation, and absent that, a lot of what we have done in the last year or so becomes problematic.
