At vending machines you can always get the small bags of snacks, say 1 oz or so, but whenever I look on the internet all I can ever find is the big bulk bags of whatever snack it is im looking for. Any ideas or suggestions as to where the vending machine companies are getting these smaller product bags from?

Probably directly from the manufacturer. They don't pay retail.

Not on the internet

Seriously though, you must be bad at the interwebs unless you want to buy a single bag.

Try a grocery warehouse, not walwart, target, or costco.
Look for an IGA or such.
When I was in college these small grocery warehouses would supply offshore drilling rigs food supply needs.
I brought the diesel fuel in a tank truck and I saw their pickup drive up with their supplies to load on the crew boats. Saw lots of snacks/pop and such.
