Competing at that level requires extraordinary repetition and focus; I assume that as professional athletes they have removed anything that would impair focus, off the table. You can damn well bet that the dude is not focusing on the sexual aspect re where his hand is, but the minute balance required to pull off their act.

Attractions would be more likely to form from a mutual and personal respect for the virtues which such endeavors require. As such, any intimacy off the ice, would not be a trivial "dirty deed", but IMO, more an act of love, as it is based on spiritual values. Albeit, a temporary relationship more than likely. Hell, most people have sex nowadays minus any marital 'sanctity'.
