I’ve never heard of this section. Can u see the game if you purchase tickets here and do you actually have to stand the whole time?

Would it be better to just purchase 3 seats not together in the bleachers and try to sit together still ?

Just buy 3 tickets together and sit in them. Standing room only (SRO) tickets are the only ones where you don't have actual seats, and are forced to stand up the entire game.

Well that was my understanding as well but try explaining that to my Pops who is purchasing the tickets. Hint. The reason I came here to show my arse to get clarification. Thanks for playing along.

They're being dicks. Grandstand seats are the best in the stadium. Behind the plate.

There aren’t any seats together except for one game in that section so they were trying to choose which is better. Looks like we are all sitting apart unless we find a way to squeeze in or switch.
Thanks for your help

You can easily buy tickets in the grandstand. I put my tickets up for sale for games I don’t attend all the time. Just go to lsusports.net. Click on tickets & marketplace. You will need to set up an account to buy tickets electronically. Go to the baseball game you want to attend & click on the sections in the grandstand to find tickets available to purchase. Then select the seats you want. There are always tickets to buy from season ticket holders who put their seats up for sale.
Good luck & Go Tigers.

I wouldn’t limit yourself to just grandstand tickets. Look at all parts of the stadium and you should be able to find some together instead of y’all being separated. Unless you just really want really good seats

I enjoy different spots for different reasons.

If I’m alone, give me LF with the hooligans and chill security. Easy to get a drink. Fun crowd.

If I’m with my son, grandstand all day. Seat backs, fewer complaints about weather, easy concession access, closer to the action for him.

I don't mind repeating myself year after year. So here goes.

Buy SRO(standing room only) Tickets and find a place to sit. You can sit anywhere that's unoccupied except the gold seats and the handicapped seating in the concourse(at the railing). Even those seats are fair game at the top of the 5th. This is straight from Landmark Security's mouth. We often sit in our seats in LF for a few innings and move to the Gold Seats by the 6th inning.

Now Regionals and Super Regionals can get packed but you will still ALWAYS find a place to sit 4 or 5 people together with SRO tickets even if it's in RF or LF. Saves a lot of money and you can move to better seats throughout the game.

Front Row of Left Field checkin in. Leg room and chair backs all day.

I understand how this could be confusing for a very small percentage of the population. Lucky for you, a large number of that small % can be found posting here, so you should feel right at home.

But like I said, the "stand" in Grand Stand is not literal. They are actual seats. The only tickets you can buy that would require you to stand are Standing Room Only tickets.

Dude we've been in Left Field since they built the little wooden bleacher section 124 in 1996(or was it 97?)? My brother got the tickets back then. We are on the disabled row(they offered to disabled first and then to regular fans to fill out the row. We aren't shady assholes. ). It's technically row 1 but it's in front of the first row of bleachers. We get chairs.

I did just find out our designated parking spot in HR Village is gone now. It's first come first serve for all paid parking in what's called the Hall of Fame Lot. But We still parked 50 feet from the Left Field Gate all three games. Not many fans know about those spots or care to park back there, YET. Nice
