Gotta be a rock for my wife & two kids. My wife (no pics) is amazing in how she has worked with me in raising our boys (15 & 10) in as normal a manner as possible with the world as screwed up as it is now. Current times are truly a global assault of good vs evil. Sorry, needed to vent & hoping to hear from some of you. I'm not scared to die at all. In fact there's a small part of me that's ready to leave this world behind but not until I spend every last breath to do all I can for my family & their future. I'm scared to death for my son's futures in the world. Faith, family, friends, & a lot of you on this board help me keep on keeping on!

Almost regardless of religious involvement, which in of itself is an extra plus, as long as parents raise children to know right from wrong and instill morals and instill other good virtues, society can prosper.

The thing that Jesus taught us and we avoid almost at all costs is suffering. Sometimes suffering is part of the redemptive process. It was for Jesus. It’s how he saved us.

Spiritual warfare. It’s a thing. Even non- believers sense it. Many, many more people have moved toward the darkness, however you define that.

God's kingdom is of heaven, not of earth.

If you want to save anyone on earth, you have to do it yourself, with your own two hands.

Funny, because the social science is clear on this, that those who practice an organized religion are significantly less fearful and anxious than those who don’t . But yeah, living in fear is an absolute waste . We are compelled to be courageous, it’s a responsibility.

Yes, it's truly and international cabal of people who hate Jesus who are behind it all.

What is it with some religious people being obsessed with suffering like it's good and necessary?

Mother Theresa was all about suffering for instance

Life is suffering. To live is to suffer. Death, illness, pain, grief, etc. this is the absolute central assumption of Buddhism for instance. That doesn’t mean that we should celebrate suffering, only that we should acknowledge it, understand it’s not likely to be an easy ride, and that we should therefore live a life filled with meaning and love. But to deny the suffering that is inherent in life is sophistry.

The real problem in this world is the lack of good parents....a child with no guidance does not have a chance!

I would rather Jesus do that than the government.

Still better than the Federal Government.

Jesus, at bare minimum, does not hurt you. Even if you hate him.

The Government on the other hand? Well the results speak for themselves so just take a look around.
