I think the Biden administration has actually done a good job in forecasting Russian pretenses for invasion, but at this point nothing is to be gained by ringing alarms every day. Just say "Our position hasn't changed and Russia knows the type of US and international consequences that will follow an incursion."
And for those convinced we're trying to manufacture war, I don't think this really makes that more likely. It sounds like it's just an administration desperate to be right one of these days because it needs a foreign policy win.
They're trying to cast the Russians as the bad guys and the aggressors so they'll, in turn, look like the good guys/defenders. If the Russians don't invade (they very likely never were going to) then Biden's incompetent team may look strong/diplomatic. Either way, this whole strategy is to be aggressive with Russia in the hope that they react so NATO can come in and expand their influence and Biden can have some war hero president street cred for fighting the big bad Russians that hacked the 2016 election.

And if it doesn't, they get to pretend their actions and threats of sanctions are what stopped the war from happening.

Who cares about Ukraine. No one is sworn to protect them. Russia just thinks they can do what the US and West have done. They believe they’re on the same level as the West now.
Just wait until China goes after Taiwan. Countries are sworn to protect them, including the US. Russia and China think now is the time to make their moves, because of weak leaders in the West.

You think Ukraine doesn't provoke any actions or violate the ceasefire in an effort to goad the Russians into kinetic actions?
I don't understand why people think the Ukrainians are little angels just being strictly defensive. This is the kind of propaganda that Western intelligence agencies use as pretext to war.

Member when the state department spokesman said that their declassified intelligence reports indicated Russia was going to stage a false flag operation to start a war and when he was asked for evidence by a reporter, he kept saying that him telling the reporter there would be a false flag operation was the actual evidence of a false flag operation?
Here's a link to it. If you think the US and other Western agencies aren't trying to start a war in Ukraine, then this should provide some healthy skepticism.

To give NATO and the EU an excuse to expand their influence like they've been trying to do for years. All the areas they're currently fighting over are filled with ethnic Russians that want to be part of Russia and not the EU.

Well, to act like this is nothing more than Russia just trying to frick with the weak nation next door because they have dreams of bringing back the old empire is ridiculous. Russia was assured after the collapse of the USSR that NATO would not expand eastward and that was violated pretty shortly after. Most of you have a completely ridiculous view of what's going on here.
