Unlikely.
LSU is “ranked” (receiving votes) 30/33 in the current polls. Beating a horrible Georgia team and very mediocre South Carolina team wouldn’t do much to move the needle in terms of the polls.
Now, beat USC and Kentucky? That’s a different discussion

Unless you’re seeking some kind of validation by a bunch of writers or coaches who watch less than 10% of the games, then who gives a frick. Focus on things that matter: NET, RPI, SOS, and the product on the court.

Will likely not be ranked.
Ranked 30th in the AP poll for instance and you'll need a slew of upsets to crack the top 25.
Thinking we could be as high as 20th means you aren't in touch remotely close to reality.

Not happening without us beating usc ,mizzou, and 2-3vs Alabama Kentucky Arkansas

Same as in the women's thread the other day, it really doesn't matter at this point. It was nice to have to get some energy behind the program, but the only thing to worry about is seeding. Win out and get a top 4 seed. Who gives a shite what some writer or SID thinks?

Rankings do not matter. Worry about conference record and winning the games they’re supposed to win. If that happens then they’ll get good seeding come selection Sunday.

If we beat #4 Kentucky again we will absolutely be ranked. It would probably increase our seeding in the tournament too.
