I'm not sure this is true, but anybody that gets fired for donating to something should sue the frick out of their employer.

Not sure what the rules are in Canada.
In the US, the gay lobby used donating to Prop 8 as a reason to harass people in 2009 and beyond. Besides ignoring the fact that heavy black turnout was the reason it passed to begin with.
