I seriously doubt that Biden gets involved in hires this far down the ladder but I guess his culture of diversity and inclusion certainly created the atmosphere that this is OK.

I think people’s objections to Biden’s nominations are because he seems to be seeking out the most outrageous and out-there candidates he can find.
I’m sure there is an equally qualified candidate who isn’t a freak.

Biden is not thinking anything. He literally makes no key decisions on anything whatsoever. He just doddles around and reads a teleprompter (poorly) every now and then. I would be willing to bet he had no idea whatsoever this person was being considered for this job, nor that he was hired. Hell, he probably STILL doesn't know this person was hired.
