ok, this might be the least amount of information every given, but i am remembering this movie from when I was about 4.

The scene, pretty sure the opening scene, is a ragged out old truck, with some sort of camper on it. Looked like a traveling gypsy type vehicle. The truck was heading up mountain roads and being followed, all of a sudden a exotic car, maybe a lambo or Ferrari, breaks out from witin the truck and a chase scene ensues.

I know that is likely no help on this movie, but thought I would give it a shot. The movie was likely filmed in the 80's or late 70's.

Too hard for me!

You may want to put a similar post on the IMDB message boards. Although you will get some crap from people for lack of additional details.

Man, I can see that scene in my mind, but I cannot come up with the movie. Oh, this is going to bug the crap out of me, now.

Cannonball Run?

Speed Zone or something like that with the exotic that goes over the water?

thought about both of those because I know cannonball run had the lambo in the opening scene but I don't remember how it started.

I don't think this is the movie, but does anyone remember "The Last Race" with Steve Austin? Sound familiar?

You are correct.

It's dubbed in French, but this is the scene fightin tigers is thinking of.

I remember renting Condor Man from alfalfa video and when I got it home the tracking was all messed up so I couldn't watch it. Still never seen it.

I loved it when I was younger, but I haven't seen it in a long time. Probably would seem a little too cheesy now.

sweet, I think this is it. after looking on imcdb.org and finding this

I will see if I can find some sort of thing on youtube or the like. Apparently it was a terrible movie, not sure why I was watching it way back when. Also, how in world did WildManGoose get this? If you are ever near me and I know about it I will buy you a beer.
