LSU pulled out all the stops this recruiting weekend. Did a great job.
Perkins - "cautiously optimistic".
Matthews - "LSU is in a great spot for him", "love where LSU sits", "going to make LSU sweat".
Caden Jones - "intriguing prospect".
Tackett Curtis - "he's everything you want", "staff is trying to get him on campus", "have to make up ground"
Citizen - he thinks "LSU is in a great spot", "Cadillac Williams has done a great job", "on national signing day I sees Citizen signing with the Tigers (LSU)".
About the 2022 recruiting class: "if LSU misses out on a top current prospect LSU will still have the best finish in the country", "the best transition class", a great segue "to the '23 class".
Danny Lewis - "growing confidence that LSU will land Lewis", "good relationships with staff", "bama main competition".
Can Florida land all three? BE laughs and says "this is recruiting, never say never". Does not see the big three has a package deal.

I have zero inside info. Just reports on here, other sites and media reports that Cadillac Williams has done a really good job recruiting Citizen.

Yea he's a stud recruiter - beat Georgia head to head on Tank 2 years ago but their OC they hired less than a month ago looks like is already leaving and then Harsin pretty much fire Mason who was the only reason they won 6 games this year
So LSU seems to be much more stable right now

Yep, the Auburn insider on 247 reported that they’re offensive coordinator, Austin Davis, has been away from the program for over a week.
Something fishy going on there but not clear exactly what. Speculation is that Harsin is just really hard to work for

Harsin is in way over his head. He won't make it to the end of the '23 season.

Harsin did a lot better than I thought he would this year. He's a good coach. My main concern is that he's unvaccinated so he could die at any minute.

Great work!
-Very well put together by the staff. Allen “Griddy” Davis being on hand was great for recruits.
-They just really knocked it out of the park in every single way.
-Cautiously optimistic about Harold Perkins. He's got the NOLA family and has been on campus multiple times. Finally got to meet the staff. Won't feel good until you have the LOI.
-Feels good about Jacoby Mathews but he's going to make LSU sweat until the end. But LSU having the last visit was huge.
- Caden Jones is a massive human. He's been offered and they're going to want him to keep camping to watch his weight and progression.
- Keidrick Richardson holds an LSU offer. He's a bit on the shorter side at 5'9. Will be tough in the SE
- Tackett Curtis is being courted by everyone in the country. He does it on both sides of the ball for Many. Staff is working to get him on campus and take a cautious approach about actually landing him. The last staff dropped the ball on his recruitment.
- TreVonte' Citizen is a two horse race with Auburn and LSU. Cadillac Williams has a great job with him. Frank Wilson really made a great impression with him as well. Likes where LSU sits.

So basicly he knows nothing and tells his subscribers the same nebulous (cloudy) information over and over. Yet somehow this guy is a recruiting guru. It’s hilarious.

What I learned from BE this morning is that Citizen is closer to LSU than thought and Perkins is not a close as some on this site have alluded. Caden Jones is also a new name, at least for me and I didn't realize how far behind we were with Tackett Curtis.
I mean I appreciate the work he does and I don't expect him to report more than he doesn't know.

Since Brian Kelly came in & ran off all the leaks (Ponamsky and others) none of these recruiting gurus have much valid information. Telling people that a player “had a good visit” or “who knows, it’s recruiting” or other such nonsense is nothing more than common information everyone knows. When you ask these guys a direct question you always get the “who knows” crap because in truth they don’t know any more than you or I do. Hey to each his own but paying these “services” for that kind of information is ridiculous.
